Posted by To stop government money leaks, the Internal Revenue Service of Zamfara State has implemented an electronic payment system.
In the weekly Hausa phone-in show “Da Ruwan ciki akan ja na Rijiya” on Zamfara State Radio, Director of Information and Communications Technology Bilya Muhammad Ahmad made this statement.
During the presentation, Ahmad, who was the Internal Revenue Service Chairman’s representative, stated that the Payzamfara online payment mechanism was implemented to stop intermittent leaks.
The Director continued by saying that the Zamfara State Internal income Service made the decision to implement the online payment system in order to enhance income collection and collaborate with its national counterparts for the state’s overall growth.
In order to shield themselves from the actions of unwanted forces, the chairperson urged taxpayers throughout the state to refrain from making cash contributions.
