Sowore reveals that Tinubu is about to face national opposition

Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, has claimed that President Bola Tinubu is likely to face a public backlash over his “thoughtless petrol subsidy policy.”
Sowore claimed in a tweet on Sunday that “Tinubu was driven by impunity when he bragged that he would remove subsidy whether people protested or not.”

The announcement follows the confusion and controversy that surrounded the President’s recently announced elimination of fuel subsidies.

Sowore also alleged that the President had forgotten that many of the recent conflicts stemmed from revolts across the country, particularly his authority over Lagos.

“When @officialABAT boasted that he would remove subsidies whether people protested or not, regardless of how long the protest lasted, he was speaking with a certainty fueled by the impunity he’d practiced in Lagos since capturing Lagos in 1999.”

“However, he overlooked the fact that many of the recent struggles, which were rooted in recent revolts across Nigeria, specifically targeted his feudal lordship over Lagos.”

“He’s about to face a national backlash that will dispel his doubts about his recent rash fuel subsidy policy.” I’m thinking about Sri Lanka! #Revolutionnow,”

He used Twitter.
