During the church service, the Brent Cross, London, Jesus House for All Nations Parish’s senior pastor erred.
Irukwu introduced Obi as follows:.
“And we have Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate.
“We always value Mr. Peter Obi. We are grateful to God, we are grateful to God. ”.
The congregation cheered and many church members stood to applaud despite their leader’s slip of the tongue.
In addition to the pastor and a large crowd of worshipers, the former governor of Anambra laughed at the mistake while remaining seated.
Obi is in court contesting Bola Tinubu’s victory in the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential primary on February 25.
