In her letter, Chimamanda claimed that Bola Tinubu’s victory in the 2023 presidential election was the result of fraud.

We had been assured that technology would protect the sanctity of votes, so we supported Peter Obi, the Labour Party candidate, and hoped he would win, as the polls had indicated. However, we were ready to accept any outcome.
