On Thursday in Akure, the capital of Ondo state, the preacher sent a statement to Vanguard making these claims.
If Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu were the president of the United States, he would have resigned with dignity by now, he claimed.
However, in Nigeria, the impoverished are punished severely while the wealthy escape justice.
Giwa said that the country’s reputation had taken a hit when the presidential contender in the past election, Atiku Abubakar, demanded the President’s academic record.
As he sees it,
I do not think Nigeria needs this CSU diploma, as it has done irreparable harm to the country.
Instead of trying to force his way, Alhaji Atiku should have let things naturally unfold.
Some may wonder why he isn’t trying to fix the internal party strife that contributed to his loss in the last presidential race instead of spending time investigating Tinubu’s Chicago University Certificate.
If Atiku had played smarter with the G-5 governors before the last presidential election, he would have won.
According to the author, “Atiku should have used his energy to resolve the PDP crisis that led to his failure in the last presidential election.”
You may recall that Atiku Abubakar, who ran for president on February 25, 2023 with Tinubu, had contested the APC candidate’s declaration as victor of the election.
Among the grounds are that Tinubu was not entitled to have stood for the election on the grounds that he presented fraudulent documents on oath to INEC to secure eligibility.
