Posted by Azeez Fashola, better known as Naira Marley, and Balogun Eletu, well known as Sam Larry, were both remanded by a magistrate court in the Yaba region of Lagos State.
Both suspects have been sentenced to 21 days in jail.
In order to finish their investigation, the Lagos State Police Command wanted to keep Fashola and the others in jail for another 30 days.
A 21-day remand, however, was all that Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun felt was necessary.
