Posted by Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya, well known as MC Oluomo, has been unanimously elected as the acting chairman of NURTW Zone 2 by the union’s executive board and membership.
The union requested that the governors of Osun, Ondo, and Oyo restore NURTW’s operations in their respective states. These governors are Ademola Adeleke, Rotimi Akeredolu, and Seyi Makinde, respectively.
This is significant because it will allow Southwest voters to nominate candidates for president of the United States.
Akinsanya was appointed acting chairman of the zone by the union during the Zonal Conference held yesterday at the Zone 2 Council Secretariat, Plot 12/13, Dagbolu Layout, Ikirun Road, Osogbo. The election will be place later this month.
