The government of Nigeria borrowed fancy buses to bring Nigerian students studying in Sudan back home.

Other countries got their people out of Sudan quickly because fighting was happening between two groups of soldiers who were loyal to different leaders, and people were getting killed.

The PUNCH newspaper said that the government will start bringing home 5,500 Nigerians, such as students stuck in Khartoum and other cities in Sudan, on Wednesday.

The government gave N150m to rent 40 buses to help its citizens in Sudan get to Egypt.

A few buses came, and the students are getting prepared to leave.
