The minister says Nigerians are united regardless of their tribe and religion.

The Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, said that people should not continue to argue about the recent 2023 elections after the campaigning is over.

The minister said that Nigerians should not let their religion and ethnicity divide them. They should act like mature adults after the elections. He spoke on a TV show called Channels Television’s Sunday Politics.

He spoke.
I believe that we are very close and shouldn’t let disagreements during elections continue after they’re over. We are connected in too many places.

I tell people that I have cousins named Lois Ganiu Okafor and Fola Okeke. They are related to me and have different ethnic backgrounds. Who don’t I like out of them?

I believe that some people said things that were not helpful, but now everyone needs to act mature and calm down. I see this happening already. We can behave very competitively at times. As time passes, we become more mature.

The ex-governor of Lagos State and a close friend of the President-Elect, Bola Tinubu said that his party, the All Progressives Congress conducted private polls before the elections but didn’t make it public. He criticized the polls that had predicted a win for Obi and Atiku saying they were done poorly.

A person who is very good at law and helped plan Tinubu’s election campaign talked about how they wanted to beat Peter Obi from the Labour Party and Atiku Abubakar from the Peoples Democratic Party. They trained 2,000 helpers from all over Nigeria and sent them back to their own places to teach more helpers how to help in the election.
