Posted by Dino Melaye, candidate for governor of Kogi State under the banner of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), claims he was the target of four separate attempts on his life.
Melaye, who made the announcement on Arise TV, placed the blame for the attempted murders on the All Progressives Congress (APC), saying that violence is the APC’s pastime.
The former senator from Kogi West went on to say that ever since the APC came to power seven years ago, anxiety has been an everyday aspect of life for the Kogi people.
Says he:
There have been four attempts on my life, 12 court proceedings of FG vs. Dino Melaye, and other attacks, all of which I have survived. It’s nothing new, as aggressiveness and violence are bred into every APC.
Kogi State, like a bad forest, requires immediate renovation and a savior.
