The Public Relations Officer for the Lagos State Police, Benjamin Hundeyin, has confirmed that the state has begun the extradition process for Benjamin Nnanyereugo, better known as KillaBoi on Instagram, who was arrested in Sierra Leone after allegations surfaced that he had murdered his ex-girlfriend Augusta Osedion.

On Saturday, Hundeyin made the announcement to the press.

The extradition process to get KillaBoi arrested in Nigeria has begun, as observed by Hundeyin.

After rebranding himself as Kanu Princeton Samuel and spending over $25,000 on a passport to live in the West African country known for its white-sand beaches on the Freetown Peninsula, KillaBoi was apprehended at a nightclub in Free Town on Friday.

Meanwhile, the deceased’s family had posted a photo of him online, prompting a Sierra Leonean who recognized him to contact prominent human rights attorney Femi Falana SAN, who in turn notified the Lagos Police Command that had declared him wanted.

Punch reports that on October 11 the Lagos State Police Command issued an arrest warrant for KillaBoi in connection with the death of miss Osedion.

According to a statement released by police command spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin last Tuesday, The Publication states that Nnanyereugo is suspected of killing the 21-year-old woman on July 13, 2023, at his home in the Oral Estate neighborhood of the Ajah division of the state.

All other means of apprehending him have been exhausted, and he is now officially considered wanted. Suspect is a 26-year-old male from Abia State who is at about 5 feet, 9 inches tall. His dark skin and expressive voice complement his command of English, Igbo, and pidgin English. The statement urged anyone who seen him to report it to the police or call 0803 688 5727.
