Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has sounded an alarm regarding the prevailing hardships in the country.

He specifically called upon President Bola Tinubu to take action, emphasizing the pain Nigerians are experiencing due to the economic challenges.

Primate Ayodele urged Tinubu to establish markets nationwide, offering subsidized food prices as a measure to alleviate the suffering of the citizens.

The clergyman, speaking in Lagos, urged the president to institute a dedicated committee for this purpose.

In his words;

‘’President Tinubu should wake up, there is hardship, people are in pain and in order to checkmate these palliatives, the government should have markets across the country where food items would be subsidized for citizens.”

It is also advisable to establish an accountable committee for this purpose. We foretold everything happening regarding the economy today and they should have prepared ahead but they didn’t take it seriously.”

“Flour will be costly if the government doesn’t act appropriately, so in order to support the government, I will be commissioning a bakery and health center in a few days.
