Yoruba students want the government of Nigeria and governors of South-West states to help solve the ongoing Sudan conflict

Some Nigerian students from Yoruba Students’ Union in Sudan have asked for help from South-West governors to bring them back to Nigeria.

The Sudanese army fought with a group called Rapid Support Force and more than 400 people have been killed and 3,500 others were hurt.

Many people from other countries are stuck and cannot go home.

Until now, the Sudanese Armed Forces and the RSF paramilitary group used to be friends. They were led by General Abdel al-Burhan and General Mohamed Dagalo respectively.

On Saturday, the group in charge of the union wrote a message.

I wish you peace. The Yoruba Students Union in Sudan is asking the Federal Government and South-West governors to help us because of the civil war happening in Sudan. We really need your help to survive.

The government said on Saturday that all airports and land borders in Sudan are closed because there are big problems in the country. Different groups are fighting with each other.
