A young man who was allegedly shot dead over a “N100 bribe” along the Ugbolu-Asara road was carried by angry youths into the state police command headquarters in Delta state on Wednesday, April 5.
The dead man was a phone vendor in the well-known Ogbeogonogo market who was reportedly shot dead by a state police officer for allegedly refusing to pay an N100 bribe.
Justice for the murdered phone dealer is what the protesting youth are calling for. They have promised to organize more young people for protests until justice is done.
