WhatsApp will now let people change messages they have already sent

WhatsApp has released a new thing that lets you change messages you already sent.

Mark Zuckerberg, the boss of Meta, said on Monday that people who use the instant messaging service can now change messages they’ve sent up to 15 minutes afterwards.

If you make a mistake or change your mind after sending a message on WhatsApp, you can now fix it by editing the message.

We’re happy that you can now make changes to your chats, like fixing mistakes or adding more information to a message.

To change a message, hold it and choose “Edit” from the menu within 15 minutes of sending it.

Users of social media had to either delete old messages or write a separate message to correct them. But now, there is a new feature that allows for easier corrections.

People on apps like Telegram and Signal could edit their messages earlier than people on WhatsApp. Some people who pay extra on Twitter can also edit their messages.
