Posted by A court in Abuja said no to a request from a politician from the APC party in Adamawa State. She wanted a quick hearing but was told no.
Instead, the judge named Inyang Ekwo told her lawyer, Mohammed Sheriff, to talk to the court about whether they have the power to hear the case about what happened in Adamawa state.
Justice Ekwo asked the lawyer to write a letter and postponed the court hearing until April 26th. During that hearing, they will listen to a one-sided request and the applicant’s statement about whether they have the right to be in court.
