Popular socialite Balogun Eletu, often known as Sam Larry, has denied being involved in a recent vehicle accident.

Some portions of the media reported that the performance promoter and his family were engaged in an automobile accident on Saturday night.

However, in response to the rumors in the early hours of Sunday, Samlarry stated that he and his family went out but returned safely, contrary to previous accounts.

He referred to the reports as “fake news” concocted by people attempting to destroy his reputation.

On his Instagram page, he wrote: “I, Samlarry, wish to use this platform to disprove incorrect information concerning my involvement in an accident. My family and I are OK; we spent the day together, went out to dinner, and returned home safely.

“Despite the ubiquity of fake news, please ignore any internet allegations against me. While some may strive to ruin my name, I leave it to God to judge. I appreciate my friends and family’s worry, but please know that I am well and that nothing unusual has happened.

“May those who disseminate falsehoods face the consequences of their acts. Thanks, Samlarry. “God bless your home.”

froshnaija recalls that Samlarry made news months ago after he was accused of abusing late artist Mohbad while he was alive, following the release of a video documenting the time he and his goons disrupted the singer’s video shoot.

Samlarry, Naira Marley, and two others were arraigned and remanded on October 6 for alleged involvement in the death of former Marlian Music signee Mohbad.

They were eventually given bail after spending weeks in jail.
