Posted by The Lagos state Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) shared that nobody died in the building that fell apart on 1st Avenue in Highbrow Banana Island on Wednesday night, April 12th.
The agency said that a truck caused the building to collapse.
What the statement said:
This report talks about a building that fell down on 1st Avenue, in Banana Island, Ikoyi.
When the LASEMA Response Team got there, they saw that a big building that was being built had fallen down. It was six floors tall. We found out that a truck crashed into the building and it fell down.
Luckily, no one died. But people are working to completely rebuild the building to prevent any more problems.
The process of recovering is still happening.
