The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has revealed that he is currently receiving treatment for a tinnitus ear infection. Ifeanyi Ejiofor is Kanu’s legal representative.

After the routine meeting on Monday between Kanu and his legal team while Kanu was being held by the Department of State Services (DSS) in Abuja, Ejiofor announced the development in a statement, noting that the team was taking advantage of every obstacle to ensure Kanu’s release.

Part of the declaration read:
“Onyendu was impressed with the progress reports, particularly in respect to UmuChineke, whom we secured their bail in court last week, while efforts have been aggressively intensified for optimal results.

You can rest easy knowing that Onyendu’s legal team, expertly steered by our knowledgeable Lead Counsel, Prof. Mike Ozekhome, SAN, is expertly navigating all legal snags to ensure that Onyendu soon regains his freedom. We are not at all taking a break.

“Onyendu is still receiving treatment at the DSS facility for the ear infection associated with tinnitus that was just recently discovered. This condition calls for advanced medical care. “.
