Posted by Dwight Yorke, a former striker for Manchester United, has identified two outstanding players the Red Devils ought to sign this summer.
Yorke believes that during the summer transfer window, Man United ought to sign Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong and Tottenham captain Son Heung-min.
This comes after Erik ten Hag’s team overcame Luton Town 2-1 on Sunday, cutting the difference between them and the top four to only five points.
Yorke stated to Gambling Zone, “I think we need a number nine, somebody up there with a little bit more Premier League experience and a good player like Son would be brilliant.”
“He’s not as good as Harry Kane, but he still has a lot of energy and goals, so I would be very drawn to someone like him to go and get things.”
De Jong would make an excellent mentor for Mainoo, in my opinion, as he fits well in Man United’s midfield.
He continued, “It would be a nice youthful balance there if he came.”
