INEC told the suspended Adamawa REC to stay away from their buildings

The organization in charge of elections in Nigeria, INEC, has stopped the person who was in charge of organizing elections in Adamawa state, Barr. Hudu Yunusa-Ari got fired from work because he wrongly said that Aisha Dahiru Binani from All Progressives Congress (APC) won the governorship election that happened again last weekend.

As a result, the REC was told to not go to the Yola commission office in Adamawa state.

INEC wrote a letter on April 17, 2023, and signed by Rose Oriaran-Anthony, asking its administrative secretary in the state to manage its activities.

The letter contains a section which says;
are to be disbarred from practicing law based on misconduct.” The Commission has decided that you (Barr.) cannot practice law anymore because of bad behavior. The boss in charge of voting in Adamawa State called Hudu Yunusa Ari was told to leave the office until he’s asked to come back.

The person in charge of INEC in Adamawa State has been changed to the Administrative Secretary.
