The Minister in charge of building and housing, Babatunde Fashola, wants the Senate committee in charge of investigating the N6 trillion unpaid rent to ask the Secretary to the Government of the Federation for help.

Fashola talked about it on Wednesday when the group came to see him in Abuja.

A group of people, led by Senator Adamu Aliero, were told to investigate and get back more than N6 trillion that was not paid for land given to people by the government.

During the committee’s visit, the Minister said that the group that gave out receipts for the property was not controlled by him, but by someone else called the SGF.

If you are asking about the PIC in your letter, we can’t help you because we don’t handle that.

Ask the SGF for information about what the PIC does. I don’t know what happened to them because the group didn’t tell me.

He spoke.

After the meeting, Aliero talked to reporters and said they had found N18 billion, but are still looking for more.
