Nigerians have reacted to the news that traditional ruler, the Oluwo of Iwo land, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, is interested in buying Chelsea Football club of England

Oba Abdulrasheed made the disclosure in an interview with the punch.

When asked about the football club he would love to buy, the Monarch who has been a football enthusiast since my nursery and primary school days, named English giant Chelsea.

The ruler, self described as a Chelsea Fan, also revealed how he plans to yield good return on investment, if he acquires the club

“I am a Chelsea supporter. It doesn’t matter what they are doing or where they are. There would be a time that they will come back; and I will not switch because they are not doing well.” he said.

Reacting, Nigerians rather found it amusing rather than a serious economic investment prospects.
