Bukayo Saka has been named the Premier League’s Player of the Month for the month of March.

Saka, who was in fine form for Mikel Arteta’s team, scored three goals and provided two assists during Arsenal’s 4-0 league victory in March.

As Arsenal defeated Everton, Bournemouth, Fulham, and Crystal Palace in four appearances throughout the month, Saka contributed three goals and two assists.

This season, Saka has contributed to 22 more Premier League goals than Erling Haaland (33) of Manchester City and Harry Kane (23) of Tottenham.

The 21-year-old is the only player in the competition this season to record double digits in goals (12) and assists (10) and is a leading contender to win player of the season.

Alexander Isak, Alexis Mac Allister, Tyrone Mings, Mohamed Salah, and Leandro Trossard, an Arsenal teammate, were all in Saka’s way of winning the Premier League award.

He becomes the second Arsenal player to win the monthly award this season, following Martin Odegaard, who was recognized as the league’s top player in November and December, both of which occurred before the World Cup break.
