Atiku praised Fintiri for winning the Adamawa election and said they still have one more election to win

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar said he is happy that Umaru Fintiri has been elected again as the Governor of Adamawa State. He thinks that this shows that democracy is working well.

A woman named Aisha ‘Binani’ Dahiru won the election for the All Progressives Congress party. An official from the Independent National Electoral Commission said she won before all the votes were counted, but the Commission did not agree with this and canceled the announcement.

Earlier, we said that INEC started counting votes again for an election that was postponed. Fintiri from the Peoples Democratic Party won the election on Tuesday. He beat his closest opponent, Binani. The election was very exciting.

Not long after the announcement, Atiku, who wanted to be president for PDP in 2023, said that the win shows that good can beat bad.

Well done Gov Ahmadu Fintiri! You won the election and will continue being the governor of Adamawa State. The former vice president, who comes from Adamawa, thanked the people from the area and those who are kind-hearted for preventing people who want to overthrow the government and do not support democracy from succeeding.

We need to be careful and not let bad people steal or ruin the votes that we make in elections. This is the lesson we should remember from exercises like this one.

After Fintiri won, Atiku thinks he can win at the election tribunal. He’s arguing that Bola Tinubu shouldn’t be Nigeria’s leader.

“By the way, we still have one more big task to do for our country and people. We can do it together and it’s not finished yet,” he said.
