An Islamic religious leader is leading a special prayer for Tinubu before his inauguration

Before the May 29 changeover event, an important Muslim leader named Sheikh Iskil Awwal from SouthWest, Edo and Delta States, has requested that all religious leaders in Nigeria pray for the new President, Bola Tinubu, during today’s religious service called Jumat.

Tinubu won an election but some people are disputing it. He will become the leader on May 29.

Tinubu won the election on February 25 against Atiku Abubakar from the Peoples Democratic Party and Peter Obi from the Labour Party.

On Thursday evening, the religious leader talked to reporters and said that a prayer is needed for an easy change from the current President Buhari to Tinubu, and for the country to keep improving.

“He said,” means someone spoke and the words that follow are what the person said.

I ask all Muslims to pray on Friday for Nigeria, the new President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Buhari. We want God to make Nigeria a better place.

Awwal said Nigeria should have peace because no country can do well during tough times and war. He said religious leaders should pray for peace and progress in Nigeria, as well as for the next president.

The leader of the Muslims said that they will have a special prayer all over the country, especially in the South-West States, to ask God for comfort and many blessings.

Let’s hope that Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s time in office will make Nigeria peaceful.

He asked the religious leaders, including Imams and Alfas, to work together and have a special prayer all over Nigeria. The intention of the prayer was to help the country develop and become successful.
