Posted by Raymond Dokpesi, leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and founder of DAAR Communications plc, has died aged 71.
A family member confirmed it on Monday, saying the media mogul died in an Abuja hospital.
According to the family’s unnamed source, Dokpesi had suffered a stroke shortly after his recent Ramadan fast and has had his health under control ever since.
The family source also said that Dokpesi eventually underwent occupational therapy to improve his daily activities by going to the gym.
