A leader of the APC party, Adamu Garba, thinks that Orji Uzo Kalu might be good enough to be the president of the 10th senate, but because the party didn’t do well in the South-East region, he probably won’t be chosen.
Adamu talked on Monday during a TV show and said that he thinks the Chief Whip of the senate will stop trying to be the senate president.
FROSHNAIJA had reminded us that the APC leaders chose Godswill Akpabio from Akwa Ibom State and Barau Jubrin from Kano State for Senate presidency and deputy. This position was only given to people from the South-South region.
People who want Kalu to win say that the job should go to the South-East area and that he is the best person for the job.
Mr Garba spoke on Arise TV and suggested that the lawmaker should get the people in his area ready to support the ruling party before joining.
I strongly believe that Senator Orji Uzor Kalu will stop trying to become the leader of the Senate.
He knows what he is doing, but the work done by people in the South-east is not very good. He needs to come up with a plan to bring the South-east together and make them support the APC strongly.
