A lawyer from Finland who is also the leader of the Biafra Republic in exile wants President Buhari, the DSS, and Malami to release Nnamdi Kanu because he is very sick. The lawyer made this request in a statement released to Froshnaija on Friday.
Ekpa said that the people who take care of the Department of State Security, DSS, said that Nnamdi Kanu needs important medical help right away.
He was sad that Kanu’s ear was hurting for more than two years, but nobody gave him the right medical help.
He asked the Nigerian Government to either let Kanu go now or let his doctor visit him while he is in custody.
He strongly opposed the medical team from DSS who wanted to perform surgery on Nnamdi Kanu.
He said that Kanu should not be harmed while he is being held by the DSS.
The DSS Medical Unit said that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu (the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra) needs ear surgery right away. We wrote a letter to the DSS Medical Unit asking them not to try something risky.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has been saying that he is getting sicker for more than two years, but the DSS didn’t let his doctor see him.

In March 2022, people who belonged to the group called Biafrans were sad because a man named DIG Joseph Egbunike had passed away. He died because he had a fish bone stuck in his throat and had surgery to remove it, but it was unsuccessful.
We are refusing to let Mazi Nnamdi Kanu have the surgery recommended by the DSS because we think it is not genuine and may cause problems.
Imagine if the DSS medical team says you have to have surgery right away, and it has to be in their hospital.
If it’s necessary, they should let Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s doctors come and do the operation.
All Biafrans should stand up and refuse any attempt by the DSS to perform surgery on our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, which would be evil and shameful.
