A woman named Karima Nuhu, aged 45, complained to a court in Rigasa, Kaduna that her husband, Musa Falalu, didn’t take her to Saudi Arabia as promised. The court operates under Shari’a laws.

The person who made the complaint lives in a place called Rigasa in Kaduna. They said in court that they were married to Falalu for four years but he only gave them food for two months.

He said he lost his driving job, but got a new one in Saudi Arabia. He told me to wait and promised to take me with him.

Until now, I have been giving myself food to eat. I lent him money for his trip. But once he got what he wanted, he left me.

Nuhu said to the court that only God will judge them on the final day and she does not have any other people to give evidence.

The person accused said that it was not true.

He said to the court that he is no longer married to the person who made a complaint.

The Judge Malam Anass Khalifa said he would only hear the person’s complaint if they saw what happened. He confirmed the couple’s divorce.
